Animal Welfare (Dairy Cattle) Code of Welfare 2014 Overview This code gives animal owner and the person in charge of the animals’ guidelines of minimum standard of care and management taken when caring for dairy cows in New Zealand. The code of welfare for dairy cows would be especially important as the dairy industry is becoming increasingly important in New Zealand, the high demand in dairy product would mean more farmers would have to provide adequate care and welfare for the ever increasing dairy cows produced. This code gives the owner or the person in charge of the animals a list of 6 minimum standards to follow whilst managing dairy cows, the minimum standards listed includes the stockmanship, the physical environment, health, and husbandry practices. The owner or person in charge of the cattle must follow the minimum requirements, the failure to comply to the minimum standards may be used as evidence to prosecute under the Animal Welfare Act (1999). Positive Attributes The code of welfare for dairy cows at part 4.4 states that cow and calves must be able to lie down and rest for a sufficient amount of time per day to meet their behavioural needs (Placeholder1). Luther argued that indulgences had no basis in the Bible, the pope had no authority to release souls from purgatory, and that Christians could be saved through faith alone. Luther was eventually summoned to the Diet of Worms and was excommunicated when he refused to recant, or give up, his opinions. Even though Martin Luther was excommunicated, he still had many powerful supporters who provided shelter and food for him. If someone were to follow in the path of Luther, one would have to write up everything that is wrong with their religion. They could  use this to know what they want the basis of their new religion to be. If someone were to do this, there would most likely be many people who would oppose it. Yet, there could be people who were thinking the same thing. However, I do not know if I would necessarily tell someone to use Martin Luther as an example because times were different than they are now. Nowadays there are a lot of different religions that anyone has the right to believe in. If someone from the modern day decided that they did not like their religion, all they would have to do is switch to another one or follow their own beliefs.

After discussing my exam scores with a teacher whom has since become my biggest role model, I was placed in her AP class as a sophomore and not only did I pass the class, but I passed the AP exam with a four. As fate would have it, I met a really nice guy through this AP class and soon enough it became clear that looks aren’t everything. As my confidence began to develop through knowing I was actually pretty smart, my outward appearance began to appeal to myself as well. I no longer doubt my opinions or myself, and I certainly don’t give off the impression I have ever been short on self-assurance. These past two years have flown by, and when I think about it, I’m still Tyler. Nothing is different, yet everything is. Rosaura’s mother states that she does not want her daughter to go to the party, because "it’s a rich people’s party" (1133). But Rosaura is only nine and "the smartest in her class" (1134), and she feels that Luciana is her friend and would not hurt her in any way. Rosaura chooses not to listen to her mother’s advice because she feels that she knows what is best for her. Company’s growth and stock price were directly related to the economy and number of miles a vehicle had been driven. As the age of car increased, more repairs were required. Because of these reasons, AutoZone’s stock price was significantly improving from 2008. AutoZone’s financial statements reflect the stock price performance. Net sales have increased for 30.85% from 2007 to 2011. Cost of sales also increased during that period, but at lower rate of 27.30%, what helped in additional improv ement of gross profit. AutoZone’s increasing operating profit indicates the efficiency and profitability of the company. Further, the increase of operating profit led to the slight increase of operating margin, from 17.10% in 2007 to 18.52% in 2011.
